Looking through several of my notebooks in the last few days I have noticed that I have added a lot of books on my to read list, and it keeps on pilling up. So I thought I would put it into one big top 10 list for me and for others who might like to read it in their spare time as well.
This is going to be a very short post, since I basically don’t know much about these books to begin with, they are just recommendations from some of my friends and I just wanted to have them on one place. Some of them I own already on some I will have to spend my paychecks on probably, but I will let tomorrow me worry about that.
The list starts with:
  1. The Immortals series by Alyson Noel.
  2. I am Number Four series by Pitaccus Lore.
  3. Let the sky fall by Shannon Messenger.
  4. The Ender saga by Orson Scott Card.
  5. Allegiant by Veronica Roth.
  6. Want by Cindy Pon
  7. Empress of a thousand skies by Rhoda Belleza
  8. Six Wakes by Mur Lafferty
  9. Sleeping giants by Sylvain Neuvel
  10. New York 2140 by Kim Stanley Robinson.
Now as you might have noticed, some of these are series and some are leftovers of series that I have already read, some are from before 2017 and some are from 2017. Now, my actual list is much MUCH longer. This is just my top 10 at the moment.
You might have also noticed that THAT is more then 25 books in total and yeah, it will cost a small fortune for me to buy them, but slowly I will work my way to be able to afford them.
Have you read any of these? Comment bellow and help me decide the order and if they are worth a read.

  1. The only ones I’ve read are Orson Scott Card’s _Ender_ books. The writing and themes are good. I personally wouldn’t advise purchasing the books though as I am vehemently opposed to Card’s virulent homophobia so don’t want to give him any kind of financial support. Interestingly, that aspect of his personality is not at all on display in the books. If you can check them all out at your local library or through interlibrary loan, they are worth reading.

Take care, be well, and enjoy!

    1. Oh wow, I had no idea about Card! I read the first book before watching the movie when it came out and I really liked it! But when I saw that it has so many sequels…
Anyway, my library doesn’t have any Ender Game books, nor do my local bookstore since I live in a small city, so ordering them online is the only way I will read them unfortunately
